Edward James Wolridge was born in Los Angeles, California on April 14, 1958. He grew up in Sacramento, California. He was an avid athlete in high school, being highly competitive in baseball, basketball, and football. He was also a fan of all other sports and trivia. Edward married Anita McAlister and they had two daughters, Edrecka and Denise. Working as a Home Renovator, among other construction-type work, he earned the respect of his fellow workers and gained many friends even though he was known to value his privacy. If you ever wanted to know what his greatest love was, all you had to do was watch him with his daughters, his nieces, and his nephew. He loved being around children because of their innocence and unconditional love. Edward didn't stay around as long as we would have liked. He left this earthly place on April 10, 2003. He is survived by his daughters, Edrecka and Denise; his sister, Jacqueline; and his brother, Vincent, who he lovingly called "Big V." He will be missed dearly and forever loved by Edrecka, Denise, Jackie, Vincent, Stuart, Samantha, Crystal, Frank, and a host of other family members and friends. Isa. 57:1 (TLB) - The good men perish; the godly die before their time, and no one seems to care or wonder why. No one seems to realize that God is taking them away from evil days ahead.
